It would have been redundant to say,? "The British are coming" as most people of 1775 in the American colonies considered themselves to be British. So, most likely he would have shouted, "The Redcoats are coming" or "The Regulars are coming". The term "Regulars" were used to refer to the British from the United Kingdom at that time.

She eagerly pulled McCain down the "paling around with terrorists" path (which he did out of desperation), and her misguided sheep followers would get? so gassed up that Grandpa Johnny was routinely forced to tone down the excitement at his own rallies! Or risk the crowd breaking into boisterous chants of things like: "radical, Muslim, Socialist, Kenyan, terrorist," on national TV! Absolutely priceless. Keep up the good work, GOP.
