What makes her say Palin is a "good mum"? Because she refers to herself as a "hockey mom"? If she beat her kids with a hockey stick, she probably wouldn't announce it on the news! The intentional photo-op family appearances can not be considered accurate reflections on what life is like in the Palin household. As a fundamentalist, she's probably pretty mean to her kids, as they believe they have to be in order to raise kids who won't step out of line or think critically about what they're told. ?

Your being harsh. You might be right if it was a political dicussion programme, but it's a 'chat' show. If your criteria extends to chat, none of us should include our opinions on anything we are not directly involved with when 'chatting' with each other. Would make us any better? Would it disengage our own interest in the world? While Sharon certainly isn't the sharpest? knife in the drawer she actually made a witty and (IMHO) accurate observation here.
