Once upon a time, the money that corporations made was invested back into the system in order to create industry, jobs etc. But those days are long gone. Corporations now hoard their money? and no jobs are being created. The poor can't create jobs, therefore our salvation lies with the corporations. But they no longer wish to? play the game.
